Infant Loss Support

We are a voluntary, parent-run, non-profit organisation set up to support parents and families who have experienced the death of a baby at any stage during pregnancy, as a baby or infant.

The Wellington Miscarriage Support Group aims to provide regular support for everyone who has experienced miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy, share stories and information about pregnancy loss, provide support during subsequent pregnancies, and provide books on loan.

Miscarriage Support Auckland began as two women friends looking for answers while helping support each other after experiencing a miscarriage. In 1985 in response to a survey by a Women’s Magazine and encouragement of staff from National Women’s Hospital, they eventually formed a small independent group of volunteers of various ages who had all experienced the loss of their own babies.

At the Grief Centre we offer a variety of services, including Counselling, Support Groups, Community Talks, Information and Resources and books for sale to assist those that are grieving.

Huggable Hearts is a FREE service that provides grieving families who have lost a baby with a fabric heart made to their angels birth weight. This gives the families something to hug and hold once they have said goodbye to their angel. .

Wellington Multiples members and volunteers have been supporting multiple families for more than 30 years. They provide support, education and friendship as you experience the joys and challenges of raising multiples.

The Neonatal Trust was originally established in Wellington in 1986 by two Wellington families with extremely premature babies. They are a registered charity which operates across New Zealand.

Evolve is a 'One Stop Shop' in Wellington for young people aged 10-24. They offer a range of services, activities and events all linked up together to make it as easy as possible for young people, including young Mums, to get support when they need it.
