My Birth Doula Package includes:
- Unlimited phone, text and email support during business hours, from time of booking;
- A complementary meet and greet with your LMC if needed;
- 2 X private antenatal sessions which will take place in the comfort of your own home at a time that suits, with or without a partner. We cover all aspects of pregnancy, birth and the 4th trimester, and can talk about previous birth experiences if applicable;
- Access to my lending library of birth balls, books, CDs and DVDs related to pregnancy, birth, babies and parenthood.
- Handouts, resources, book and website recommendations.
- Optional hire of my TENS machine ($50 hire fee and fully refundable bond of $100). TENS pads to be purchased separately;
- Me being on call for the birth 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from 38 weeks until week 42.
- Continuity of care through labour and birth, whether it is at home or Wellington/Hutt Hospital.
- Use of my doula birth kit (including Aromatherapy oils, Homeopathy remedies, LED candles, heat pack, combs for acupressure, and more. Contents may vary);
- Guidance with babies first feed if required, and what to expect over the following hours and days;
- Nature's Touch Relief Perineal Spray OR Harmony Pulse from Natures Touch
- 1 x postnatal session, usually within 10 days of baby's birth and in the comfort of your own home at a time that suits, with or without a partner, to reflect on your birth experience and how you are doing, and ask questions about what to expect over the next few weeks. I am also happy to help with a bit of light housework;
- Homemade lactation cookies;
- Unlimited phone/text/email support during business hours, until 4 weeks post birth.
